The tool you are using for this searchable help is a Glossary. It is basically a list of headwords with definitions. This is one of the most useful activities available on as it is a very flexible tool and, depending on the settings you activate, can enable different types of user capabilities including collaboration and comments on entries. Tutors can also grade entries.

If you create a Glossary on one area and want to use it in another area you can either

create a link to the original Glossary (if you want both to be live and don't want to duplicate your updating efforts). OR if you only need one current and live version you can export the Glossary entries from the original and import into the new one.
